Terms
Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Kinforge. We have tried to write them the way we would want to read them — short sentences, no traps.
Effective August 27, 2026. These terms apply today. They are under review by counsel alongside the rest of the Kinforge suite; we will post any changes here before general availability.
The agreement
By creating a Kinforge account or using our apps, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Kinforge. Kinforge is operated by Kinforge LLC.
You must be at least 18 to create an account and agree to these terms on behalf of a household. Children take part through accounts created for them by a parent or guardian.
Accounts and households
One Kinforge account works across the apps in the suite. Your account belongs to you; your household’s data is shared with the people you invite into it.
If you invite a child into your household, you are confirming you are their parent or guardian and that you consent to their use of Kinforge on the terms in this document and our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what happens in your household, including keeping sign-in details safe.
Tell us promptly if you think someone has reached your account without permission.
Your content stays yours
The goals, plans, stories, photos, and records your family puts into Kinforge belong to your family. You give us only the permission we need to store that content, show it back to the people in your household, and back it up. Nothing more.
We do not use your family’s content to train models, and we do not use it for advertising.
Using Kinforge well
Please do not:
- Use Kinforge to break the law or to harm someone
- Upload content you do not have the right to share
- Try to reach another household’s data
- Interfere with the service or attempt to disrupt it for others
- Resell Kinforge or present it as your own product
Plans and billing
- There is a free plan. You do not need a card to use it.
- Paid plans renew automatically — monthly plans each month, yearly plans each year — until you cancel.
- The price and billing period are shown before you pay. There are no hidden fees.
- If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Taxes may be added where the law requires.
Cancellation
Cancelling is as easy as subscribing
You can cancel from your account settings, on the web, in no more steps than it took to subscribe. We will not put a retention maze in your way, we will not require a phone call, and we will not ask you to explain yourself.
- When you cancel, your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- After that, your household moves to the free plan. We do not delete your family’s history because you stopped paying. Features above the free plan stop being available, but the information you put into them is kept, and it comes back if you subscribe again.
- You can come back later and pick up where you left off.
- If you would rather delete everything, ask us and we will delete it and confirm.
Apps that are still being built
Some Kinforge apps are marked available, some early access, and some planned. We label them honestly and we will not charge you for an app that is not ready.
Early-access features can change or be withdrawn while we work on them. If that would cost you something you paid for, we will make it right.
Suspension and ending the agreement
You can stop using Kinforge and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts other families at risk, or that we are required to act on by law. Unless the law prevents it, we will tell you why, and we will give you a chance to get your data out.
What we can and cannot promise
We work to keep Kinforge available and correct, but we provide it “as is”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not able to guarantee that it fits every household’s particular needs.
To the extent the law allows, Kinforge LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is true, they do not apply to you, and nothing here removes a right you have under consumer law.
Kinforge is a family organization tool. It is not a medical, legal, financial, or educational-compliance service, and it should not be relied on as one.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will update the effective date above. If a change meaningfully affects your rights or what you pay, we will tell you directly and beforehand, so you can decide whether to continue.
